Advancing Communities by Supporting Environmental Remediation Efforts
The Montgomery County Land Bank has created an Environmental Services team that can provide both legal and technical support for communities looking to clean up and reposition brownfield sites for future redevelopment. In additional to these services, the Land Bank works to identify funding resources that can support the efforts of local communities in the redevelopment process.
Currently the Land Bank has funding from a US EPA Grant for Phase 1 and 2 assessment work with a focus on, but not limited to the county’s riverfront corridors.
