May 2025Quarterly Newsletter

Heather Wendel, program manager for Environmental Services and Commercial Redevelopment, shares her expertise on creating brownfield-site inventories.

The Ohio Land Bank Association’s annual conference in April brought together land bank professionals, elected officials, economic development experts, and local government staffers to learn about – and share – best practices for addressing troubled properties in Ohio communities.

Our own expert on brownfield remediation, Heather Wendel, program manager for Environmental Services and Commercial Redevelopment, shared her insights and experience as a member of a panel on creating and maximizing the use of a brownfield-site inventory.

Also at the conference, Mike Grauwelman, senior advisor at the Land Bank, was reelected as a member of the OLBA Board.
