Key Staffer Moves On

Land Bank Program Assistant Sue Pratt, whose primary responsibility was managing the Do-It-Yourself Renovation program, retired at the end of June. In this challenging position, she inspected abandoned, tax-delinquent houses, determined their reuse potential, oversaw their preparation for market and enforced state and Land Bank building standards for the rehab.

“Sue brought with her a deep commitment to the community and professional capability that’s hard to replace,” said Land Bank Executive Director Mike Grauwelman. “She was instrumental in developing the DIY program, and her sense of humor will be missed.”

Emmy Fabich, who was introduced in a previous edition of this newsletter, was hired in the spring to fill the position.
